Heya
What a site its nice to know im not alone with this horrid thing! I suffer on my armpits, boobs and down below. I try to make the best of things but sometimes i struggle just doing every day tasks.
I am currently applying for dla cause of my hs and back problems but not holding out much hope.
Hope everyone is ok and not too bad.

Re: Heya!
Hi Ria, Welcome to the site. This site is new, (only been online for a few days now!) Sorry to hear your struggles with HS. Makes us often wonder "why me?".
Have a poke around the site, many features are being added daily!
It is often said, a picture says a thousand words, yet do a thousand words constitute a picture?
Take pictures of the HS, often this is the most powerfull tool you can use to infrom the DLA adjudicator. (To be honest, I have no idea how the exact process works but hey ho!)
Could I ask how you found this site?
New Feature - If you go to the homepage and click on "Who Is Online?" near to the bottom of the page, it will show a map of the world with a little icon of the location of members who are online!

Re: Heya!
Hi Ria,
How are you?
It's really great to be able to talk and chat with other HS sufferers (although I would never wish this terrible illness on anyone) as it let's us known that in the bad times we are not alone.
I hope your DLA claim goes well, I am going to be applying soon but want to gather as much info before hand as I can. I already have a vast array of rather gory images which I intend to put on a cd and send in with my claim form, if that doesn't shock them nothing will!! lol.
Good luck.
Love Claire xx
